The global food issue

How can we feed the world´s population in 2050, when the population will be nine billion!? One billion people are hungry and another billion people are morbidly overweight. Research results, ideas, advice and thoughts were exchanged during the conference Forum for Environmental Research 2011 — Food. Food is a tremendously complex issue that encompasses production, the environment, transport, joy, health, toxins, trends, overconsumption and behaviours — topics that were discussed and debated during the conference.
