Thirty-one applications (pre-proposals) were submitted in response to this year´s Open Call for Expressions of Interest in Mistra Research Programmes.
The pre-proposals are being examined by an international assessment group. In early November 2007, Mistra´s Executive Director will decide which applications are to receive planning grants. In June 2008, the Board of Mistra will take the funding decisions.
The purpose of the research programmes is to help solve environmental problems in a manner characterised by the highest scientific quality. The Open Call relates to all scientific disciplines, and the programmes can involve researchers and users both in and outside Sweden.
