For the third consecutive year, the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) has been implemented in the Nordic countries. The results are compiled in the Nordic 200 report, where in the top 200 Nordic companies were queried on climate policy and greenhouse gas emissions. Mistra's research program Sustainable Investments has prepared the report together with the CDP.

“The results are better than last year´s, both in terms of response rates and corporate performance. We conduct the investigation in a very rigorous process with both workshops and guidelines," says Amanda Haworth Wiklund at CDP in Stockholm.

This year's CDP results will be presented at Hasselbacken in Stockholm on October 20th. One of the speakers is Ian Hamilton from Mistra's research program Sustainable Investment Research Platform. He presents the results of the Nordic 200 report. Paul Simpson, CDP, will present the results of the Global 500 and Stéphane Voisin of CA Cheuvreux analyzes the recent responses from  Europe´s largest companies (EUR 300).

Klas Eklund, chief economist at the SEB Bank, is also involved as is Michael Rantil, Senior Advisor at the Swedish Energy Agency, who talks about climate negotiations. Henrik Ekman, science journalist at SVT, the Swedish Television Networks, is the moderator.

CDP, the Carbon Disclosure Project, holds the largest registry of corporate greenhouse gas emissions in the world. This year's global survey, the seventh one, was sent to 3500 companies.
