Uppsala, November 13, 2008, 9:45-16:15
Department of Government, Uppsala University
Akademihotellet
Övre Slottsgatan 5, Uppsala
On November 4th US voters will select a new president. Climate change
is one of many issues that will be affected by a change in the White
House. This workshop examines the potential impact that the next
presidential administration might have concerning future efforts to
address the climate change threat. The new US president?s climate
protection agenda, regional and national climate policies in the US,
and the potential for the US and the EU to provide joint leadership to
address the challenge of climate change and forge a new post-Kyoto
agreement are all among the issues that will be addressed. To see the program for the workshop, please click here (pdf, 31 kB).

The event is free of charge and includes lunch and coffee in the
morning and in the afternoon. For this reason, we would like you to
confirm your attendance no later than the morning of the 10th of
November.
