TransportMistra
The Mistra Sustainable Mobility Initiative concerns research aimed at creating sustainable transport systems. Regarding this initiative, Mistra has decided to invest a total of SEK 10 million a year for at least three years to come in a main programme, Impact, and two satellite programmes, Inform and Include.
Impact
Impact´s objective is to develop, disseminate, market and implement a set of tools and models that will support decision making for sustainable mobility, primarily by increasing implementation efficiency. Impact´s research design builds on the collected wisdom of various disciplines brought in through the use of a selection of common cases.
Inform
The focus of Inform is to emphasize how stakeholders in the transport sector understand, formulate and define sustainable mobility and how such formulations shape the resulting solutions that they propose and practice.
Include
Include is aimed at long-term strategies for achieving an environmentally sustainable transport system that is well integrated with the natural and cultural properties in the environment - and allows creating new landscape values that harmonize with environmental quality objectives.
