The goal of the Sustainable Investments research programme is to find out how the use of sustainable investment practices can create an added value to investors, and identify barriers for such practices to become mainstream. Sustainable Investments is a three year interdisciplinary research programme that started in January 2006 and is funded by Mistra. The programme has two sub programmes: Behavioural Impediments to Sustainable Investments (BISI) and Sustainable Investment Research Platform (SIRP).
The BISI programme is a joint effort Centre for Finance at School of Business, Economics and Law at Göteborg University; the Department of Psychology at Göteborg University and the Department of Psychology at Bath University.
The SIRP programme is a collaboration between between Umeå School of Business at Umeå University; the European Centre for Corporate Engagement, a joint venture by RSM Erasmus University and Maastricht University, and GES Investment Services.
