Forum for Science Communication sheds light on pandemic
What is the response to the massive demand for current research, and can uncertainty be communicated? These questions will be discussed on 1 October in this year’s Forum for Science Communication (FFF) conference, with the theme ‘From vision to reality: Science communication in the light of a pandemic’.
This year, like most other conferences, FFF is being held online. The morning will be devoted to joint sessions; during the afternoon, there will be opportunities to attend workshops of varying content.
FFF is aimed at people who work in science communication and anyone interested in the subject. Mistra is one of the organisers, the others being Forte (the Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare); the Swedish Research Council; Vinnova, Sweden’s innovation agency; the Knowledge Foundation; Ragnar Söderberg’s Foundation; Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (the Swedish Foundation for Humanities and Social Sciences); the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF); the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation; and Public & Science (VA). The event is being held jointly with the International Science Festival.
