New call in Mistra Innovation 23

On 10 February, Mistra Innovation 23 (MI23) opened its second call for proposals. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Sweden, jointly with academic research organisations, are invited to submit funding applications. The research projects concerned must designed to help solve environmental problems and foster society’s sustainable development.

The purpose of Mistra Innovation 23 is to give SMEs scope to develop innovative ideas for commercial, environmentally friendly products, processes and services.

In the years 2011–19, Mistra Innovation (MI) invested SEK 80 million in 24 projects. MI was concluded in 2019 and the new programme, Mistra Innovation 23, started.

In 2019, the first MI23 call was issued. It culminated in five projects, and an investment of SEK 25 million was allocated. Further support from other sources – mainly companies taking part – is expected to be on a corresponding scale.

The call closes on 12 April 2021.

Further information and the application form are available here.
